Content you submit: prompts, captions, voice training samples, uploaded files, and other inputs you provide to generate AI output.

Payment-related data: plan tier and promo redemption records. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

To generate captions and related content, your inputs may be sent to third-party AI providers (such as OpenRouter and underlying model providers) solely to fulfill your request. Do not submit sensitive personal data you do not want processed by AI services.

We use trusted infrastructure providers including Supabase (authentication and database) and Cloudflare (hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

Some preferences and voice profiles may be stored locally in your browser (localStorage) on your device.

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication sessions, app preferences, and core functionality. We do not use advertising cookies on the core product.

CaptionAI is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
